Have you taken an Intro to paper cutting class and are interested in developing your skills and learning more?

The Next Steps in Paper Cutting class is for those with a basic understanding of how to use an x-acto knife and how to cut/create a simple design out of paper. In this class we will delve deeper into finding the negative space you want to cut out, adding elements like birds, clouds, leaves or a silhouette, and glueing multiple colored papers on the back.

This class is also for anyone who has taken the Introduction class at Black Barn and may not be ready to move forward (or not much) but wants more guided practice to hone their skills.

You may bring in ideas/ photos from home, but we will also spend some time outside looking for inspiration and taking pictures of things that you feel would make a great paper cut!

If you bring your materials from home (cutting mat and knife especially)
the materials fee will only be $10 (mostly for paper I'll bring).
